Jessica grew up in a small farming community where she learned the value of working hard and giving back. She attended the University of Lethbridge went on to obtain her CPA, CA designation. After a brief move to the United States, she knew she needed to come home to Southern Alberta. Jessica realized that accounting wasn't for her. She obtained her Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Investment Manager designations.
All the 'nerdiness' aside, one of Jessica's favorite quotes is by Brene Brown - "What you know matters, but who you are matters more". Jessica has been referred to as a Social Participator and continues to uphold the title.
In addition to charitable giving, she has served on various non-profit boards (including a national board) and was recognized by the Chamber of Commerce as Top 40 Under 40 in 2017.
